Ingredients of Pecan pie
- It's 1 cup of Karol syrup.
- It's 1 cup of packed brown sure.
- You need 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- It's 1/3 cup of melted butter.
- Prepare 3 of egg gently beaten.
- It's 1 of pie shell.
- You need 1 cup of chopped pecans.
- You need of Whole pecans to put on top of the pie.
- You need 2 TBS of cornstarch.
Pecan pie instructions
- Pre heat your oven to 350.
- Combine the syrup, brown sugar, and the melted butter together. (if you butter has salt Do Not Add Salt) if it doesn't you may add 1/3 tsp of salt.
- Once you have mixed and corporate everything good add the slightly beaten eggs into the mixture. Make sure every thing is mixed well..
- Slowly add the cornstarch.... make sure there are no lumps in the batter...if you do have it just break it up with a spoon....the cornstarch will help it thicken up....
- Pour your mixture into to the uncooked pie shell..
- Last but not least!!! Sprinkle half of the chopped pecans on top of the batter. Then start lay the pecans around the pie shell. Once you have done that if you want sprinkle the rest.
- With a spoon I went around and cover the whole pecan with some of the mixture..
- Cover the edges of the pie because it can burn since the baking process in long!.
- Bake at 350 50-60 minutes.
