Recipe: Perfect High altitude chocolate cake
The perfect high-altitude chocolate cake. It's simple, totally chocolaty, and my first choice when I need something that I know will change and become a fun person.
A good chocolate cake is like a little black dress from a dessert. Every girl needs one. It is reliable, can be dressed smartly or casually, and always makes you feel good. When it comes to cake, it should taste good. And this Bundt Cake is just that.
What do you think of the perfect chocolate cake recipe high altitude?
I love how simple they are. I also like that they don't need a lot of decoration (read: nothing). Because decorating cakes is not my hobby. Whenever there's an event that asks for a cake or when I'm asked to bring a dessert, it's almost always in the form of a bundt. I already have a few Bundt Cake recipes on the blog, but not a simple chocolate cake recipe. What about it?
It is easy. Very easy. While it can really handle a few extras like mini chocolate chips or a cup of chopped peanut butter or even shredded Oreos, I like it for what it is. I do it without icing - and serve it with just a pinch of powdered sugar - but what I like best is the icing. Cake + frosting = the perfect combination.

In my humble opinion, of course.
Cakes are largely dependent on kitchen ingredients. The coffee is a must-have - it adds depth - and the yogurt adds a nice bite to it. You can also use light sour cream. Do not save. Always use full fat when baking. Always use whole milk - bake or not. It tastes a lot better. And better for you.
Again just my humble opinion about the chocolate cake recipe high altitude
I like this cake the day after it is made best. For some reason, it feels richer after sitting all night. The icing on the cake is a dream. You pour the warm icing over the still-warm cake and it just melts into the cake and then hardens and, OMG, that's the bomb. Chocolate cake perfection.
I like to serve cakes as they are or with a dollop of whipped cream. Fresh berries (or other seasonal fruits) are a great garnish as they cut through the cake's fullness and add a welcome fresh bite. It also makes a great breakfast. ️
Can you tell me I love this cake? Just do it.
